Smoke was sent billowing through the air when a pickup truck became fully engulfed in flames at the merger of I-684 and the Saw Mill River Parkway on Thursday morning.
First responders were dispatched at approximately 11 a.m. to I-684, at the Saw Mill River Parkway juncture near exit 43 in Katonah, where there was a multi-vehicle crash that left one car in flames near the guardrail of the southbound lanes.
One injury was reported, and the incident temporarily tied up traffic in the area as crews controlled the blaze.
